B&B Reunion Checklist

The B & B Reunion 2026 is almost here! 🎉

As you start getting ready for the weekend, we’ve put together a quick checklist with a few things you may want to pack, prepare, and remember when you arrive.

Take a look, check your list, and get ready for a great weekend with family. We can’t wait to see everyone soon! 🌲❤️

Sunday Family Meal Update for 2026 Reunion

One of the best traditions of our reunion is gathering together for a meal on Sunday evening. This year, we’re trying something a little different.

Instead of one large shared potluck, each family will bring and enjoy their own potluck-style meal, and we’ll all gather together at 5:00 PM on Sunday around the picnic shelter to eat, visit, and enjoy each other’s company.

With such a large group, this approach should make mealtime a little more relaxed. It means no long serving lines, no worries about food running out before everyone gets through, and more time to sit, visit, and enjoy being together.

So pack your family’s favourite dishes, grab your lawn chairs, and join everyone at 5:00 PM on Sunday as we continue one of our favourite reunion traditions: sharing a meal together.

We hope you’ll pull up a chair, share a meal, and make a few more memories with family.

Kids & Youth Activities at the B & B Reunion 2026!

We’re planning a weekend full of fun for kids, teens, and even the young at heart! Whether you want to get crafty, play a game, or just spend time outdoors, there will be something happening throughout the weekend.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

🎪 Kids Carnival Games from All Fun & Games available all weekend.
🎲 Large Yard Games for youth and adults to enjoy together.
🎨 Kids Craft Time on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
🌿 Nature Scavenger Hunt for our younger adventurers.
🍿 Movie Night Under the Stars on Friday and Saturday after dark, complete with popcorn!
🔥 S’mores Around the Bonfire for the kids.
⚾ Pickup Baseball Games with one diamond left open for anyone who wants to organize a game.
🏀 Basketball Court open throughout the weekend.
🥒 Pickleball Courts ready for a friendly match.
🎯 Cornhole, Bocce Ball, and Frisbee Golf set up around the park for everyone to enjoy.

We could use your help! If your family would like to donate a few small prizes for the Kids Nature Scavenger Hunt, please leave a comment below or email jonathon.prevost@gmail.com.

Many of these activities will be available all weekend, so there won’t be a packed schedule to follow. Our goal is simply to give everyone plenty of opportunities to get outside, meet relatives, play together, and make some wonderful family memories.

We can’t wait to see everyone at the B & B Reunion 2026! ❤️

The B & B Reunion 2026 Family Heritage Hunt Begins!

With just 2½ weeks until the reunion, it’s time to start hunting!

Attached is Part 1 of our Family Heritage Hunt Passport. Over the next couple of weeks, search your home for these family treasures. Dig through those old photo albums, recipe boxes, yearbooks, keepsake bins, and junk drawers. You never know what memories you might rediscover!

Work together as your family branch to gather as many of the items as you can before arriving at the reunion. Don’t worry if you can’t find everything! The fun is in the search and the stories behind the items you do find.

📝 Be sure to bring your completed Part 1 sheet and all of the items you found to the reunion.

When you arrive, pick up Part 2 at Registration, where the hunt continues with interactive challenges, photo opportunities, and activities that will help create new memories throughout the weekend.

This isn’t just a scavenger hunt, it’s a celebration of our family’s history, our traditions, and the memories we’re still creating together.

💬 Which item do you think will be the most difficult to track down?

2026 Reunion Registration

Thank you to those families that have already sent their anticipated attendance counts for the reunion. We’re still missing some of those counts, so please get them to your family reps ASAP so we can get the buttons prepared for the registration table.

We’re going to be ordering button making supplies this week and wanted to share the planned button designs.

MEMORABILIA DISPLAY AND PICTURE BOARDS

Who has started working on their picture boards for the reunion? Does anyone have photos of past reunion memorabilia/picture boards to share?

MEMORABILIA DISPLAY AND PICTURE BOARDS

Each family group is requested to put together a picture board depicting all of the descendants. Photo copies should be used rather than original photos. It is recommended to have a waterproof covering as the picnic shelter is not completely closed in. There will be a couple of tables for any other memorabilia, i.e., antiques, favourite memories from past reunions also setup under the shelter if you wish to display some special family heirlooms.

Silent Auction

A message from the Chenier Clan:

The silent auction is one of the big fundraisers that keeps the reunion going, so please consider contributing a prize or two. Handmade gifts are especially encouraged, but if you’re not particularly crafty, themed baskets are a great option. Why not team up with other families in your branch to create movie night baskets, gardening baskets, and so on. Please also keep in mind that there will be lots of children and teens at the reunion, so prizes that appeal to younger family members are very welcome.

We’d love if families are able to donate baskets already pulled together (could be cardboard box with clear plastic garbage bag over the displayed items). Individual items can be bundled on site (like items for children).

Tickets will be on sale Saturday and Sunday at the beer gardens, with the draw happening at the dinner on Sunday. More details to come.

Thanks to the Gail and Megan Pilcher for helping out on this important fundraiser.

The family reps for this reunion so far are as follows. If you don’t see a rep for your family, please consider becoming one. The more input the better and we need reps from each branch to update the family book properly. You can reach out to Jonathon Prevost with your contact information if you’d like to be your family’s rep.

Family Quilt History

It was brought up at one of the last meetings that we should get photos of all the quilts and as much info as we can so we can document it on the website. I have a few photos, but if anyone has any photos of family quilts from previous reunions, please post them here or email them to me at jonathon.prevost@gmail.com Thanks!
